User WarrantiesIn placing an order, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age, and that you are providing accurate, true and complete information, and that you have the authority to place the order.

ProductAlthough we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items on our site, we do sell out of certain products. If we are out of stock on an item that you've ordered we will notify you by e-mail with the expected ship date. At that point, you will have the opportunity to cancel your order or confirm it. Please note that a few items on our web site always need to be special ordered because we don't keep them in stock. In those cases, the lead-time is indicated on the product information page. Also, we can not guarantee that colours in the website are fully equivalent to the item’s actual colors and that the colors will stay the same after washing.
Payment and pricesWe currently accept Visa, Mastercard and PayPal payment.
For purchases within Sweden you can also pay with Klarna Faktura.
For Card payments we cooperate with Payex. All transactions are encrypted and 100% secure. The transaction of credit card data is encrypted. We do not store any credit card data.
All prices shown on products include 25% Swedish VAT. If your delivery address is within European Union (EU), you will pay the price incl. 25% VAT. If your delivery address is outside the EU, the price to pay will be without VAT.
Shipping costs will be added to your order. For shipping charges, please view the shipping text below.
For tiles, please contact us then we will provide you with a price quote and shipping costs.
Orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country. Please note you will be responsible for any taxes or duties your country collects on imported goods. If you do incur any such additional charges they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs. Please contact your local customs office for further information.
DeliveriesWe will expedite your order as soon as possible. All orders are fulfilled at our warehouse in Borås, Sweden within 1-3 business days. All orders are subject to availability. When your order is placed, we will send you an order confirmation.
Once your order has been placed and you have received an order confirmation email, you may not make any changes to your order. If you wish to make changes to your placed order, or if there is any mistake made in registering customer contact or address details when placing the order, it is your responsibility to contact us immediately.
Orders may be canceled within 1 business day for a full refund. If no, they may be subject to a 25% cancellation and restocking fee.
Once your package is shipped we will send you an email with a tracking number for the package.
We are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. If a delivery suffers a delay or if the delivery cannot be dispatched or only partially due to the goods not being in stock or other reasons, you will be informed about this as quickly as possible or at the latest 30 days after the order was placed. In this case, you will be given the option and has a right to terminate the agreement, free of charge. We will refund you with the sum paid as quickly as possible, though at the latest within 30 days after termination.

ShippingAll orders are shipped by Schenker or by UPS/FEDEX unless otherwise specified, this means that your package is fully tracked until it arrives at its destination. Due to courier restrictions and the risk of credit card fraud we can not deliver to P.O. Boxes. We will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense related to any delay in shipment or delivery.
Shipping costs will not be refunded for uncollected or rejected items.
LARGE ORDERS: Our tiles/larger items/bulky orders are shipped with a special carrier directly into your home. You will be contacted directly regarding the delivery time, so you can make sure to be home on the delivery address.
Shipping prices and information:Sweden:
Shipments within Sweden are free of charge for orders exceeding 600Sek (otherwise 49Sek) and are fulfilled by Schenker. You will get an email notification when your order has been shipped, with your parcel tracking number. Schenker will deliver your parcel to a hub near you and you will be notified by SMS when the delivery has arrived. Therefore it is important that you give your mobile phone number when you register your details.
Shipments to all countries within Europe are free of charge for orders exceeding €130. For order below €130, we charge €15. The shipments are fulfilled by UPS/FEDEX. Local tax and duties will add upon delivery when shipping to countries outside the European Union.
Rest of the world:
The shipments are fulfilled by UPS/FEDEX.
Local tax and duties will add upon delivery.

You will get an email notification when your order has been shipped, with your parcel tracking number. UPS/FEDEX will deliver your parcel to the delivery address given in your order. If you are not available, UPS/FEDEX will call you, why it is important that you give your mobile phone number when you register.
How to order TilesPlease provide us details on the order you would like to place; call us at
+46 (0)8 6583003, or email us directly at email@example.com. We will quickly provide you with a price quote including shipping costs. In-stock tiles can be delivered in 2-3 weeks. All other tiles are custom made to order, and the lead time is 8-12 weeks.
You can get a sample of any cement tile that we have in stock for
60 SEK/€6/$8 plus shipping. But, we deduct the cost of the samples if you place a subsequent order.
It is not really practical to send small orders; Minimum order for cement tiles is 1sqm. But if you need less 1sqm, please contact us.
The Tiles are sold only by full boxes of 14 tiles.
We recommend to prevent material shortages, that you order 10% more material than your surface requires.
Due to the nature of handmade tiles, customers should expect slight variations colors, and designs in all of our handmade products. We recommend that you mix tiles from different boxes across your installation to create uniform variation across your surface.
Measurements of spaces to be tiled and quantities are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for errors in quantity, size, or color.
Full payment is required in order to process your order unless it is exceptionally large and other arrangements have been made. Payments will be accepted using PayPal or bank wire.
Orders are shipped via our Freight Carriers.
Customer is responsible for all shipping charges, VAT, import and/or taxes and banking fees.
Returns, Exchanges and RefundsYou have the right to return your ordered products within 14 days of receiving the products, given that the product is unused and in its original condition. In case of exchange or return, you will pay for the return shipping, and we will not refund any shipment or payment costs. In case of a quality claim due to a damaged or faulty product, we will replace the product free of charge or refund what you have paid, including the shipping cost. Please provide us with documentation for your expenses. We follow Swedish laws in case of returns and disputes.
- Notify us by email within 14 days of receiving your order, that you want to return something. Please Contact us on e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to return a product. If you send us an e-mail, please include as many details as possible including your order number as well as some pictures if there is something wrong with one of the products.
- Send your items and the original packaging back to us within 14 days from your notification.
- Fill out the return form, and send it along with the items you want to return.
- The return shipment cost must be paid by you, and is not covered by us. And it must also be arranged by yourself.
- You will receive your refund within 14 days after we receive the notification. The refund will be paid back to the credit card or PayPal account used to pay for the order. However the refund will not be paid before we have received the items at our warehouse or we have received documentation proving the items have been shipped.
- If the items are not received in their original packaging and in the same condition as you received it a deduction can be made in your refund similar to the decrease of the value of the items. The items are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please ensure you pack the return safely to prevent (any further) damage to the products or boxes. And please keep receipts and tracking codes as a proof of sending the items back.

Quality ClaimsIf you need to make a claim regarding your House of Rym product purchased at houseofrym.com due to a flaw in its quality, please contact us at email@example.com. We will evaluate the defect and try to help you. Claim rights do not apply to defects caused by wear and tear or incorrect usage. To verify that the product was bought at House of Rym shop we ask you to always present the original purchase receipt or the web order number in case of a claim. If you contact us by email, please explain the reason for your claim and send along high quality images of the defect plus your web order number or a scan or photo of your receipt.
We follow Swedish consumer laws in claim cases.
For House of Rym products purchased at an other retailer (ie not at www.houseofrym.com) we kindly ask you to contact the retailer with your claim, and they will help you.
If we approve your claim, you can either have a new product sent, a discount or return the product for a refund. This will be decided from case to case.
If you send back damaged or faulty items please fill out the return form. Send it along with the items you wish to return. If your claim is valid we will of course cover your shipping expenses for returning the item to us. Please provide us with documentation for your expenses.
The items are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please ensure you pack the return safely to prevent (any further) damage to the products or boxes. And please keep receipts and tracking codes as a proof of sending the items back.
Transport DamagesIf a package is damaged at arrival, you should report it immediately at the site. If you have opened the package and detect a damage, please contact us.
Uncollected DeliveriesShipping costs will not be refunded for uncollected or rejected items.
SecurityHouseofrym.com uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all payment steps where personal information is required. SSL allows our server to automatically establish a secure connection with your web browser. When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is scrambled, transmitted across the Internet, and then decoded when it gets to us.
We also take several steps to protect user information offline. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.
Errors and InaccuraciesOur goal is to provide complete, accurate, up-to-date information on our website. Unfortunately, it is not possible to ensure that any website is completely free of human or technical errors. This website may contain typographical mistakes, inaccuracies or omissions, some of which may relate to pricing and availability; additionally, some information may not be complete or current. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions - including after an order has submitted - and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Force MajeureIf we fail to comply with the agreement because of unusual adverse circumstances outside of our control due to force majeure such as strikes, civil unrest, war or natural catastrophes such as earthquakes, volcanic action and other similar matters, then we cannot be held responsible.
Governing LawThese Terms and Conditions and all disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions or with the use of the website or with any purchase on the website shall be governed by Swedish law. House of Rym may modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any moment. You are therefore asked to accept only the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of purchase with each of your orders.
